🚗 KH Accelerator allows us to share our knowledge and dip into multiple sports projects. This also serves as treasury diversification as each project part of the accelerator will be pledging 3% of their token supply to Krause House. The Players Company / Bank DAO - Current and ex-NFL players, Amir Carlisle, Sheldon Day and Richard Sherman are creating a players company and their first project is Bank DAO, to own and operate a Bank as a DAO.
Princeton 3x3 - A top 10 FIBA 3x3 team looking to run a team and a 3v3 league as a DAO
👀 Progress in introductions to NBA ownership groups. We’re starting to get strong leads and engaging with teams around the world and with the NBA front office. We’ve also been talking with people who have strong one-degree connections to NBA teams. 👛 V1 Krause House Wallet is coming soon. The wallet will allow you to connect your tokens, your NFT ticket, member profile and view the KH governance forum. The platform will also improve the voter experience where you’ll be able to follow high-context members in KH and track how they vote. 🔨 Decentralized Sports Operations (DSO) team updates: The DSO team have been researching basketball and business operations and have completed their initial decentralized scouting, economic membership, draft analytics and broadcasting reports.
Most teams generate revenue through tickets, broadcast rights and through sponsorships but there aren’t many ways to benefit fans outside of their local market. If we’re bringing the approach of being the internet’s home team we need to explore ways to leverage NFTs and other web3 products/services.
The DSO team is exploring how we can build an out of market loyalty program for teams that go beyond the Socio’s or Green Bay Packers model of engagement. Given the financial aspect of sports, DSO is exploring ways to strengthen our value prop as the best source of capital for a team. DSO is also looking into how we can frame these products/services around legal compliance.
The research and stakeholder interviews will continue into Season 3 so please reach out to Brandan on Twitter or Discord if you’re interested or have any relevant introductions.
🌎 International League Exploration team updates: The team is doing due diligence on teams and leagues around the world. Clive and Tyler Murray are leveraging their contacts and the Krause House community to speak with multiple league commissioners and ownership groups. 🧠 Season 2 lessons learned:
Onboarding Routing: our Agent’s team is doing an excellent job onboarding new members through 1 on 1 calls, Draft Classes and the #introduce-yourself Discord channel but we can improve how we route contacts to different workstream leads and projects.
Legal Updates: currently what’s being explored are 1) what should we do with the Krause House social DAO entity and 2) the ownership positions for each hypothetical sub-DAO. Commodore and Sundin are exploring the mix of governance and equity options that can be brought to an ownership group. The variables being worked through include
What is a sustainable model for regulators?
What do Delaware, Federal US law, and International law allow us to create a structure around?
What would an NBA ownership team feel comfortable engaging with?
What will the NBA say yes to?
The price for 1-2% of a team will be in the $20m+ range. We also will need to accommodate the NBA's requirements & will most likely need a KYC process to be a stable group for the league.

Fan licenses: Exploring economic memberships
New revenue streams: Player contracts and operational costs are getting more expensive for teams. Using our web3 expertise, we’d like to create revenue streams beyond broadcasting and merchandising deals.
Vertically integrated media: Exploring content for the fans by the fans but officially sanctioned by the team.
💸 Venture Arm - Decentralized Investment Operations (DIO)
As Krause House builds out the future of sport, we're seeing incredible investment opportunities in both sport and decentralized infrastructure and operations.
To make the most of that opportunity we're beginning to coordinate how we share those opportunities and exploring what a decentralized KH venture fund might look like.

S1, E6 • NBA Coaching Legend Phil Weber: On Episode 6, we’re joined by 20-year NBA veteran Phil Weber. Arguably the NBA’s first player development coach, Phil spent 9 seasons on the sidelines with the Phoenix Suns under Mike D’Antoni. He was an integral part of the Suns’ back-to-back trips to the Western Conference Finals in ‘05 and ‘06, as well as, an offensive guru whose early adoption of analytics led to the Suns’ iconic small ball, run-and-gun style of play that jump started the modern NBA.
In the 1st episode of this two-part series, we dive into Phil’s national championship playing days under Jimmy V, his rise through the college coaching ranks from Florida to Hawaii and everywhere in between, and, of course, his eventual ascent to the NBA under then-HC Danny Ainge. He even shares some personal stories about the legendary Kobe Bryant and his unique friendship with the Wizard of Westwood, John Wooden.
