Welcome to Jerry's Digest, your source for Crypto, Sports and all things Krause House DAO.
DAO's are brilliant at coordinating and channeling the collective efforts of individuals that are willing to come together and build cool projects together. One of the many issues that many have experienced in DAO's, is that the consolidation of progress, updates, and information is quite segmented.
We are hoping to alleviate that issue with Jerry's Digest as the main focal point where all progress, updates, and goals will be collated and archived. 1️⃣ A Primer on DAOs
You might be wondering, what exactly is a DAO?
A DAO stands for Decentralized Autonomous Organization and is an internet community that allows members to facilitate the coordination of resources and funds as they move towards a common goal. Decisions are made from the bottom up and governed by the community with rules enforced on a blockchain.
In the context of Krause House DAO, we have formed an organization with the goal of owning and operating an NBA team and are governed by our members known as Jerry's.
You may hear the term season throughout the newsletter. A season simply represents a period of time in which the DAO seeks to accomplish specific projects and goals. More on our projects for this season below. 🙂

2️⃣ It's T-Mac Season! (Season 1 Kick-Off 9/13/2021)
Season 1 has started off with a slam dunk!
We had a community call hosted by Commodore and FlexChapman on September 13 2021. The community has voted on Tracy McGrady, also known as "T-Mac," to be our spirit player for our first official season.
To kick off the call, they dropped some 🔥 content with a Youtube recording from Scott Burrell, a member of the legendary 1997-1998 Chicago Bulls championship team shouting out the one and only Krause House DAO!
The community call also recapped our recent Summer League season and reflected on what went well and what could be improved on going forward.
Summer League 2021 is over. Here's what we learned.
There was a ton of work that was completed over the duration of the Summer League season. Big shoutout to Commodore#0145, eli_#0534, mario lopes#2725, GladRobot#6845, flexchapman#5934 for delivering on time!
Here's what we learned:
Small teams > big teams
Super teams failed
Guild based teams are the current aspiration
Continue posting ideas and problems in Discord channels and let talent attack it
Information is still scattered around the DAO, things like a Jerry Digest might help
The short time period for the season worked well
NBA banter = good vibes

Season 1 is underway and we have few things in the works.

3️⃣ Rumble Kong Fund
For those that have been in tune with the NFT scene, you've likely noticed that there has been an increasing interest in the play-to-earn (P2E) space and we believe that the sports-related P2E projects will be massive.
Commodore#0145 and flexchapman#5934 have quietly acquired a 3v3 team from the Rumble Kongs NFT Project.
The idea was floated to the community and members have come to a consensus to start a fund as P2E sports investment/collector to help build the treasury and grow the Krause House community.

Beanie did an amazing job with hosting the DAO's first growth team call and came prepared with growth frameworks and learnings from other DAO's. We had around 7 attendees (s/o to commodore#0145, JBMoney#7879, Magnus#3558, mario lopes#2725, MPE3#6490, aj.e#6346) and managed to brainstorm a bunch of great ideas for us to implement and market Krause House in Season 1. Great work and well deserved! Let's keep the momentum going!
